ANNIE is a beautiful female - well put-together conformationally and her fleece is very dense, with high frequency crimp (mean curvature of 46.7 deg/mm). Her fleece has an excellent handle that feels very, very nice. In fact, she was acknowledged has having the best handle in her class at the 2009 CNASF. She then took part in the Best Handle Class at the show, and was one of the first two in the ring (the judge is blindfolded and has to determine by feel alone which alpacas has the best handle). She survived the challenge of a good number of competitors, before she was excused from the ring. She placed 2nd in her class at this particular show.
Annie received 1st place in the 12-24 month White Huacaya class at the 2010 Olds College Fibre Week Fleece Show - her score was 81.5 / 100! Judge's comment: "Great degrees of fineness & uniformity for this age group!"
Annie's fleece also received 1st place in the 12 - 24 months White Huacaya Class at the 2010 Navan Fair Fleece Show in Ottawa, Ontario.
Annie's fleece received 2nd place in the 12-24 months White Huacaya Class at the 2010 Alpaca Canada/CNASF Fleece Show in Edmonton, Alberta.
